The Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications is housed on the campus of Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. The Shepherd University campus is conveniently located 75 miles from Washington, D.C.—making it the ideal destination for students who want a more laid back yet academically rigorous educational experience with easy access to the professional connections, internships and fellowships found in our nation’s capital. It also affords the Institute the opportunity to frequently bring leading communications professionals into the classroom to share their experiences and guidance with students studying political communications.
The Stubblefield Institute is part of the Shepherd Entrepreneurship and Research Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established to support the development of projects, partnerships and initiatives that will advance research and economic development initiatives for Shepherd University and the region it serves.
