SHEPHERDSTOWN — The second annual Stubblefield Institute Civility Club Civility Awards were presented during the club’s “Not-Your-High-School-Prom Prom” event on Saturday, April 1, in the Storer Ballroom at Shepherd University.
The recipient of the Faculty Civility Award was Alyson Christmas, assistant professor of art, the recipient of the Staff Civility Award was Juneau Daggs, success coach and the recipient of the Student Civility Award was Javier Flores, Jr., resident assistant.
Civility Club President Chloe Bailey explained that the recipients were nominated by the campus community and selected by the club due to their embodiment of the nature of civility.
