SHEPHERDSTOWN — The Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications brought together a panel of three experts to discuss how people are labeled in society and what benefits or drawbacks are associated.

Wednesday night’s panel, titled “Labels – Limiting or Leveraging,” featured three speakers, including Tanya Dallas Lewis, diversity, equity and inclusion, staff development and Title IX coordinator at Jefferson County Schools; Margarita “Maggie” Garrido-Cortes, housing program coordinator at Telamon; and Dr. Lindsey Levitan, associate professor of psychology at Shepherd University.
