Incoming Shepherd University Students

Shepherd University is offering a new program to residential and commuter first-year and transfer students. Shepherd L.E.A.D.S (LEADS: Leadership, Education, Action, Development, Service) will provide an experience for new students to make connections, gain knowledge and skills in navigating college, and engage in community service both on and off campus prior to the beginning of the fall semester. Students will work on academic preparation and skill building through a 1-credit First-Year Experience (FYEX). Stubblefield Institute Listen. Learn. Engage. staff will be assisting with Shepherd L.E.A.D.S., with particular focus on civility discussions and the power of communication.
