SHEPHERDSTOWN — The Stubblefield Institute has recently added three new members to its board of advisors.
The new members are West Virginia State Senator Charles Trump; experienced media, marketing and event entrepreneur David Adler; and Shepherd University political science student Chelsea Wells (‘24).
Chelsea Wells (‘24) serves this school year as the Shepherd University student representative to the board. She is the fourth student to serve in this rotating position since the Institute’s founding in 2019. Wells is also set to be the first student to graduate with the academic concentration in political communication developed by the Institute.
David Adler is the founder and CEO of BizBash, an innovative event planning hub. Adler’s previous experience includes corporate, political and government event leadership. He also founded the magazine Washington Dossier and has served as a consultant to the U.S. State Department.
West Virginia State Senator Charles S. Trump, IV represents District 15 and resides in Berkeley Springs. Trump has more than 30 years of experience with West Virginia politics. He has also previously served as prosecuting attorney for Morgan County and as a member of the electoral college.
